The grave stone of Thomas Toby, who died at sea of  appendicitis.

He served as steward/ boot boy on the Union Line, Steam Ship Goth.

He is buried at St Mary`s Church, Sholing, Southampton

He was my 2nd Great Uncle

The inscription reads:
