My great uncle John Robert Briggs born 1888, died 1950

He was an Engineer and I've managed to find him on your site crew lists on the Clan Leslie as a Junior Second Engineer, sailing in Sept 1914 and Feb 1915.

His merchant seaman discharge no 934169 and suggests he worked for the Clan Line 1912 to c 1948

I've also found the Clan Lamont crew list from 28 Aug 1942, when it docked in New York, by this time John was 1st Engineer.  I don't think you have this crew list on the site so it may be of help.  

Am I correct in thinking this would be Clan Lamont (3)?

Hopefully I'll find more of his arrival details to help fill out the gaps.
