Don Diego was a 3,632 GRT steam cargo ship completed in 1906 by J. Readhead & Sons for Buenos Ayres & Pacific Railway Co. Ltd. and managed by G.Dodd.

She was sunk by gunfire from German submarine U-65 at position 35° 50' N, 13° 40' E - approximately 40 nautical miles East by South of Linosa Island.

She was en route from Swansea to Alexandria with government stores.
