I am Robert Starkie and joined B&C in September 67 as an engineer cadet studying in Plymouth for the first 2 years.

My time at sea as a cadet was served on the Rotherwick Castle, followed by the Clan Robertson.

My 3rd phase was spent at South Shields, before qualifying in 1971. I served time as a junior and then 4th engineer on both the Edinburgh Castle and Windsor Castle, before leaving  for Container Fleets Ltd.
