From The Clansman Autumn 1949

All the post war Clan Liners that were built to accommodate passengers were fitted to the same very high standard. By the mid ‘60s most of these ships had ceased passenger carrying and these cabins were Deployed to officers. It is no wonder that they became very popular ships with the sea going staff.
