CLAN MACALISTER SS was a British Passenger/Cargo Steamer of 4,835 tons built in 1903 by A MacMillan & Son, Dumbarton for Sir Charles W. Cayzer (Cayzer, Irvine), Glasgow.
In 1913 she was sold to The Clan Line Steamers Ltd.
On the 6th November 1915 when on route from Liverpool to Calcutta she was captured and torpedoed and sunk by German submarine U-35 when about 120 miles S x E of Cape Martello, Crete.
