Seagull

SEAGULL was built in 1883 with a tonnage of 24grt.

She was the mooring and dispatch launch at Southampton and attended the arrival and departure of each ship carrying the mooring ropes to the quay as well as providing a ship to shore service when the ships anchored off Northam.

In 1898 she was sold locally for use as a harbour ferry and, thereafter, all trace of her was lost.
