After obtaining Second Officer’s Certificate in 1957 joined Safmarine as Third Officer.

Came ashore in 1958 and joined NCR as a Technician.

1971 relocated to Rhodesia (now Zimbabwe) and owned a Hardware Store until 1990, thereafter worked in production.

Deceased 22/07/2000.
