David Cargill Broadwood Lochhead Joined Union Steamship Company of N.Z. Ltd., as 3rd. Officer & rose to Master in the 1960's.

His latter years were spent on the Coastal tankers managed by Union Co., prior to retirement .

He passed away some years ago .
