Sunk

Clan Mac Millan was sunk on 23rd March 1917 by 2 torpedoes from a German U-boot, while in ballast from London to Glasgow.

The German U-boot interrogated the crew, but left them alone.

A patrol trawler picked up Captain Young and his crew.

6 hours after the first torpedo, the Clan Mc Millan broke in two pieces and finally sunk.
