15.3.1918 attacked by the German submarine UB49 and sunk by torpedo and gunfire 60 miles S.E. by E. ½ E from Cape Carbonara, Sardinia, whilst on a voyage from Naples to Bizerta in ballast.

The master and 32 crew members were lost.
