Last Ship  Edinburgh Castle

Served for 15 months in Capetown Castle. Then Round Africa (both ways) in Durban and Warwick Castle. Then on to Carnarvon Castle, finishing with five voyages on Edinburgh Castle.

During that time we carried HM Forces, Officers and cargo to supply the Simon’s Town base. Similar to Kenya and Aden in support of our forces.
