Captured and Sunk in The Mediterranean - 1915

The largest ship ever built at the yard, she was launched from Robert Duncan & Co in 1902.

On 7 October while in bound from Bombay to Liverpool she was captured by U 39, 122 miles south of Cape Martello, Crete and sunk by gunfire.

There were no casualties.
