30 June 1915 of Convoy 8 departed Sydney with 121 AIF as the 1st Light Horse Regiment, 6th Reinforcements

1915 during the Dardanelles campaign served Alexandria – Mundros – Salonica. Housed Turkish Prisoners of war

October 1915 carried meat stores for eight months

9th October 1916 of Convoy 26 departed Melbourne with 90 AIF and 293 horses

17 October 1916 departed Fremantle with 1 AIF Officer
